Play Doom with this free version in which you can create your own levels.

Surely almost everyone has played Doom, or have at least heard of it. It is a first person action game created by ID Software, in which you have to play the part of a marine on Phobos, one of the moons of Mars. Once there strange things start to happen, and zombies and many other undesireable creatures start to appear.

ID Software has opened up the source code for this popular action game, under a GNU GPL licence. FreeDoom is a collection of resources that have all the data, graphics, texture, sounds, levels etc, and in definitive, everything that defines the game. But you need a graphic engine to play it, like Risen3D. FreeDoom has 32 scenes, that include three difficulty levels, so you can choose the best adapted to you.

With FreeDoom you can create a free game based on the Doom engine, keeping the compatibility of the original IWAD files.
